The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for the customer throughout project execution, and will provide leadership to the project team through the following responsibilities; - Liaise with members of the project team across local and/or remote offices - Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting of project sales, costs and margin - Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet project criteria - Work closely with project support to enable accurate and timely reporting on project performance - Ensure project plans are well organised and communicated - Apply PMO execution methodology to all projects - Build and develop relationships with key sub-suppliers - Manage cross-divisional workscope, where neccessary - Support proposal generation, project execution strategies, cost estimates and customer sales meetings. - Assist in support and development of more junior team members This role will involve a certain element of travel within the UK and overseas for training and meetings. Candidates will be degree qualified, within an Engineering discipline (or equivalent), have relevant project management experience having worked on automation projects such as PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, Preference will be given to those with Oil & Gas experience and project planning practices.
